On October 11, 2011, President Obama announced the “We Can’t Wait” initiative which speaks to the urgency of helping “transitional” veterans gain stability and respect in high-demand, well-paying careers. A Legacy for Learning Corporation addresses that urgency with an innovative program aimed at helping to secure a veteran’s future.
On September 11, 2012, with the support of the Commercial Food Equipment Service Association (CFESA), TechU24/7 launched an online technician training program to equip entry-level candidates with the skills needed to fill thousands of viable job openings nationwide for commercial food equipment repair technicians.

A Legacy for Learning Corporation is in the process of obtaining 501(c)(3) status to provide scholarships to qualified veterans interested in becoming commercial foodservice equipment technicians.
Funding for these veteran scholarships is being raised through corporate and private donations.
We hope you will consider giving back to those who have given so much while simultaneously helping to meet the need for qualified service technicians within the commercial foodservice industry.
